Last March 14, 2009, Dr. Cesar A. Perez, Jr gave a lecture regarding glaucoma prevention during the 2nd World Glaucoma Day Celebration of the Asian Hospital Medical Center. More than a hundred lay people attended the event, wherein free glaucoma screening and counseling were also done. The lecture was primarily geared to promote awareness and to educate people about glaucoma. The lecture was sanctioned by the Philippine Glaucoma Society.
