Dear Dr. Roque!

I would like to express to you once more my thanks for your examination of my "cataract". According to your diagnosis (which I trust) my eye does not need to be operated for several years. Your professional way of examining my eye took away my "cataract-fears" which had been planted in my mind by a "provincial examination" which claimed that I would have to have my eye operated on at once. You were furthermore able, by the way of a different examination, to testify that my eyesight is according to my age (64) not bad at all.

I am, as you know, a Swiss Citizen, who underwent several eye-examinations in Switzerland already. I had told my "cataract-fears" to my sister, who lives in London, England. She sent me an e-mail saying, that I should visit a Dr. Roque in Eye Republic Ophthalmology Clinic in Manila, Philippines. Since I had a negative experience in the province I was suspicious and asked her where she got this address from. She only replied "look under this link: EyeRepublic.com.ph and you will understand. I looked and I was impressed. I would like to express my admiration for this very professional  webpage full of useful information. It convinced me to make an examination date with the EYE REPUBLIC Ophthalmology Clinic and to travel to Manila and visit you, Dr Roque. And when I came to your EYE REPUBLIC Ophthalmology Clinic in Don Santiago Building, I was relieved and pleased when I realized, that the procedure to investigate the patient was similar to the one in Switzerland and the "look-and-feel" of the machinery that I had to look through seemed to be the same if not somewhat better, as the ones that I already had looked through in Switzerland. Your professional attitude of  eye examination and your kind manners in answering my many questions left me with very good impression. The fee I had to pay was very modest. I shall be able to recommend you to anybody of whom I learn that he or she likes to have his eyes examined or treated in any other way.

P.s.: the global village really seems to work and it sounds somewhat like a modern fairytale:

 

• I live in a province in Philippines and I do not know this country very well.

• I develop a health problem and mail it to my sister in England.

• My sister who does not know the Philippines at all and does not even know internet very well goes to the web and types in "cataract".

• She contacts Dr. Roque. He convinces her that he is able to take care of my problem.

• I am still suspicious because I did not see the webpage yet.

• She convinces me that I must only see the webpage to get confidence in Dr. Roque.

• Her words: A brain, that can deliver that good an information is an educated and a caring brain. A well educated and caring brain gives a feeling of confidence and deserves further consideration...

• So I visit the webpage. I marvel. I get confidence.

• I contact Dr. Roque and everything turns out JUST FINE...

• MEDICAL-TOURISM!!!
