Alcon AcrySof Cachet Phakic, Now Available, Philippines

Alcon AcrySof Phakic Angle-supported intraocular lens
If you have moderate to high levels of myopia and have been looking for a non-LASIK option for refractive correction, the wait is over. The latest phakic IOL lens introduced in the refractive market, the Alcon AcrySof Cachet Phakic Angle-supported intraocular lens, will be available in Manila within the month, and we are certified to implant it.

Designed to correct moderate to high levels of myopia, the AcrySof advanced angle-supported phakic IOL is a foldable lens that will be available in four lengths with refractive powers ranging from –6 D to –16.5 D.

Based on positive results from a clinical trial that enrolled 360 patients, the lens received a CE Mark in August. In the study, the lens significantly improved uncorrected visual acuity to an average of 20/25 or better with minimal central and peripheral endothelial cell loss over 3 years of follow-up.

We are pleased to offer the Alcon AcrySof Cachet Phakic Angle-supported intraocular lens together with the other phakic lenses which we implant: Ophtec's Artisan, Artisan Toric, Artiflex, and Artiflex Toric; Staar's Visian ICL and Visian ICL Toric.
