Last April 22, 2009, Dr. Manolette Roque gave a lecture on Standardization of Uveitis Nomenclature (SUN) to ophthalmologists of the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Alabang, Muntinlupa. His talk revolved around the peer-reviewed manuscript of the SUN working group printed in the American Journal of Ophthalmology in 2005. It is the prayer of all uveitis specialists worldwide that SUN is embraced by uveitis specialists in particular, and ophthalmologists in general.
The lecture has been distributed to all accredited ophthalmologists of the Asian Hospital. It will be posted online and further disseminated to the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology and Philippine Ocular Inflammation Society.
